Check whether JobPath shows up when you share your screen
No subscription needed: launch the app, start sharing right here and see what the interviewer would see. The picture stays in your browser and goes nowhere.
- 1
Launch JobPath
The window is hidden from screen sharing right away, even on the sign-in screen.
Download the app - 2
Start sharing
Press the button and pick “Entire screen”, not a window or a tab.
- 3
Look at the preview
Bring JobPath to the front. In the preview you should see whatever is behind it.
Check in Chrome, Edge or Yandex Browser: interviews usually run there, and screen sharing works the same way.
What the interviewer sees will appear here
What else to check before the interview
The operating system hides the window. Three more things worth checking once in advance.
Hidden mode is on
The toggle in the app header. It is on by default; if you turned it off, the window shows up in screen sharing.
Virtual cursor
The system draws the cursor, and it changes shape over buttons. Turn on Virtual cursor in the Stealth tab so the pointer does not give away that something is under it.
Your call platform
Zoom, Meet, Teams and Telemost take the picture from the system, so the window is hidden there just like here. To be sure, make a test call with yourself.
Questions about the check
How hiding works, and what to do if the window shows up anyway.
