Downloading and installing is free, and so is the account. The free plan includes 15 minutes of copilot time — enough to see whether the format works for you. Paid plans raise the limits.

Is the copilot visible during screen share?

No. The JobPath window is excluded from the stream that goes out over screen share: the other side sees a plain desktop where the hint sits. Verified in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Discord and a dozen more clients.

Do I need a second monitor or a phone?

No. The hint appears on top of your own screen, on the same machine that runs the call. A second monitor is supported but not required.

Which meeting platforms are supported?

Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Yandex Telemost, Kontur Talk, Skype, Discord, Slack, WebEx, Whereby and more — 16+ services in total. The copilot works off system audio, so almost any client fits.

How does the app update?

On its own: it checks for a new version at launch and installs it in the background. No need to re-download the installer.

What if the app can't hear the interviewer?

It's almost always audio permissions: on macOS you need «Microphone» and «Screen Recording» in system settings, on Windows microphone access. If it's still silent after that, write to @Jobpath_help and we'll dig in.

How to install

AppImage in an archive, Ubuntu 20.04+

Unpack the archive

The .zip contains an AppImage — that file is the app, there is nothing to install.

Make it executable

chmod +x JobPath-*.AppImage — or tick «Allow executing file as program» in the file properties.

Run it and sign in

Same login as on the website. The Linux build is marked beta — if something breaks, tell support.

Check audio capture

The copilot needs microphone and system audio access — check your PulseAudio or PipeWire settings.
